Sources disagree — the amending act's instructions found this change; the text comparison finds no difference in the provision's text and the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it. All are shown; none is overruled.
No explanation shipped — the structural diff did not see this change, so it carries no text; another signal named the unit and the disagreement ships as `disputed`.
text before / after
No text on either side: this unit was named by a signal that carries no text, and only the structural diff carries any.

Part II now adds two new sentences stating that the sparkling wine and semi-sparkling wine categories in points (4) and (8) may be obtained by second fermentation of de-alcoholised or partially de-alcoholised wines referred to in point (1), and that the aerated sparkling wine and aerated semi-sparkling wine categories in points (7) and (9) may be obtained by adding carbon dioxide to such de-alcoholised or partially de-alcoholised wines.
This text does not appear in the corresponding passage of the earlier version of Annex VII.
Both texts are cut off before the end of Part VIII on olive oils, so any further differences beyond the visible portions cannot be described.

In Part VI, point III(2), the marking of eggs is now stated to take place only at the production site, removing the earlier reference to marking at the first packing centre to which eggs are delivered.
A new point 2a has been added allowing Member States to exempt eggs from the point 2 marking requirement, based on objective criteria, when marking is instead carried out at the first packing centre to which eggs are delivered.

in force 2021-12-07 MODIFIED§
Amended by Regulation (EU) 2021/2117 32021R2117
applies from: unchanged
A new sentence has been added at the end of Part I, Section II, allowing the relevant Member State, at the request of a producer group under Article 3(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012, to decide that the classification conditions do not apply to meat with a protected designation of origin or geographical indication registered before 29 June 2007.
In Part II, an introductory passage has been added stating that the categories of grapevine products are those set out in points (1) to (17), and that the categories in point (1) and points (4) to (9) may undergo total or partial de-alcoholisation in accordance with Annex VIII, Part I, Section E, after fully attaining their characteristics.
Point (3)(a) on liqueur wine has been rewritten to add an exception permitting the alcoholic-strength limits to differ for certain wines of prolonged ageing with a designation of origin or geographical indication on a Commission-established list, subject to conditions on the alcoholic strength of the wines entering and completing the ageing process; the remainder of the text, including appendix references, was cut short in the material shown.

Amended by Regulation (EU) 2017/2393 32017R2393
applies from: unchanged
Sources disagree — the text comparison and the EU's own amendment metadata found this change; the amending act's instructions do not mention it. All are shown; none is overruled.
In Part II, point (1)(c), the exception allowing the total alcoholic strength of protected-designation-of-origin wines produced without enrichment to exceed 15% volume has been extended to also cover such wines enriched only by partial concentration processes listed in point 1 of Section B of Part I of Annex VIII, subject to the product specification in the technical file allowing that possibility.
The corresponding earlier text only referred to wines produced without enrichment, without any mention of partial concentration processes or the technical file condition.
Both texts provided are truncated before their end, so no comparison can be made of any further differences beyond the point shown.

Amended by Regulation (EU) No 1310/2013 32013R1310
applies from: unknown (the text changed beyond its dates, so no date that moved can be read as the application date)
dates added to the text: 1981-12-15, 1986-03-01, 1998-03-01
Sources disagree — the text comparison found this change; the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it and the amending act's instructions do not mention it. All are shown; none is overruled.
The visible portions of Annex VII, including Parts I through VIII up to the definition of crude olive-pomace oil, are identical between the two versions, with only a minor spacing difference in the conductivity figure under Part II point (14)(a).
Both texts are cut off before reaching the end of the crude olive-pomace oil definition, and the after text is truncated much later than the before text, so no comparison can be made of the remaining content, including Annex VII(iii) and the appendices, beyond what is shown.
