A new sentence has been added in Module A1, point 4, requiring that the thermal cycles and tests referred to in points 4.3 and 4.4 be carried out in laboratories accredited for those activities by a national accreditation body.

The rest of the visible text of the Annex, including Parts I and II up to and beyond Module A1, is unchanged between the two versions.

Both texts are truncated before their end, so no difference beyond the shown portion can be described.

Amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/409 32023R0409

applies from: unchanged

Sources disagree — the text comparison found this change; the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it and the amending act's instructions do not mention it. All are shown; none is overruled.

A new point (ba) was inserted into section 3.1 of Part I, adding micro-organisms as specified in CMC 7 in Part II of Annex II to the list of component materials for which Module B followed by Module C may be used.

This point did not appear in the earlier version of that list, which moved directly from plants, plant parts or plant extracts (point (b)) to polymers other than nutrient polymers (point (c)).

Amended by Regulation (EU) 2022/1519 32022R1519

applies from: unchanged

Sources disagree — the text comparison and the EU's own amendment metadata found this change; the amending act's instructions do not mention it. All are shown; none is overruled.

In section 1(a), the exclusion for virgin material substances or mixtures is rephrased from listing 'a nitrification inhibitor, a denitrification inhibitor or a urease inhibitor' to referring instead to 'a nitrification, a denitrification or a urease inhibiting compound'.

Correspondingly, in section 3(a), the component material description changes from 'nitrification inhibitor, denitrification inhibitor or urease inhibitor' to 'nitrification, denitrification or urease inhibiting compound'.

The remainder of the compared text, including the visible portion of Module B point 2.2(i), is otherwise unchanged, and the after text is truncated at the same point as the before text, so no further difference can be confirmed beyond what is shown.

In Module A's technical documentation list, the reference to demonstrating conformity with point 5 of Part II of Annex I has been removed from the description of results of calculations, leaving only a general reference to calculations and examinations carried out.

The chromium threshold in Module A's documentation requirement now specifies 200 mg/kg dry matter rather than simply 200 mg/kg.

The applicability rule for Module B followed by Module C no longer separately lists an inhibitor and a plant biostimulant alongside a fertilising product blend, retaining only the fertilising product blend reference under point 3.2.
