MODIFIED +402 −260 Annex III ANNEX III§
applies from: unchanged
Sources disagree — the text comparison and the EU's own amendment metadata found this change; the amending act's instructions do not mention it. All are shown; none is overruled.
Point 7 has been restructured from a single sentence covering growing media and polymer-binding products into a lead-in sentence followed by two lettered sub-points (a) and (b) that separately identify the growing-medium case and the polymer-binding case.
The new point 7(b) adds a qualification not present before, excluding from the instruction any polymer used for binding material that meets any of the requirements set out in Part II, section CMC 1, point 1(f)(i) to (iv) of Annex II.
The internal cross-references to the growing medium provision and to the polymer provision are also rephrased, now citing Part II, section PFC 4, point 2a of Annex I and Part II, section CMC 9, point 1(c) of Annex II respectively, in place of the earlier wording that referred to point 2a of PFC 4 in Part II of Annex I and point 1(c) of CMC 9 in Part II of Annex II.
