A new Article 222b is added, requiring Union market observatories set up under Article 222a to identify threats of market disturbance in their reports, and requiring the Commission to regularly inform the European Parliament and the Council about the market situation for agricultural products, the causes of market disturbances, possible response measures, and the rationale for those measures.
