Paragraph 6 now extends the classification requirement for production and relaying areas beyond live bivalve molluscs to also cover echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods.
Point (g) of paragraph 7 was reworded so that the derogation from classifying production and relaying areas is now split into two sub-points, covering Pectinidae and, where they are not filter feeders, echinoderms and marine gastropods, replacing the earlier single reference to Pectinidae, marine gastropods and Holothuroidea.
Point (b) of paragraph 8 similarly broadens the scope of the implementing acts on classification and monitoring of production and relaying areas to include echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods alongside live bivalve molluscs.
