This new provision sets out conditions under which Articles 41b to 41e apply, tying their application to a Commission implementing act adopted under Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2024/2747, to PPE designated as crisis-relevant goods under Article 18(4) of that Regulation, and to the activation of the internal market emergency mode under Article 18 of that Regulation.
It also states that Article 41c(7) continues to apply during the emergency mode and after its expiry or deactivation, and empowers the Commission to adopt implementing acts on corrective or restrictive actions, procedures, and labelling and traceability requirements for PPE placed on the market under Articles 41c and 41d, following the examination procedure in Article 44(3).
