The list of definitions gains two new entries after the existing CE marking definition: one for "crisis-relevant goods", referencing the definition in Regulation (EU) 2024/2747, and one for "internal market emergency mode", referencing the same Regulation.

Article 3
Definitions
For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions apply:
(1) personal protective equipment (PPE) means:
(a) equipment designed and manufactured to be worn or held by a person for protection against one or more risks to that person's health or … 387 unchanged words … means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;
