A new paragraph 1a is added, requiring Member States to inform the Board as soon as possible when they request to enter into close cooperation with the ECB under Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013.
The same new paragraph also states that, following such notification and before close cooperation is established, Member States shall provide the Board with all information about entities and groups established in their territory that the Board may require to prepare for the tasks conferred on it by this Regulation and the Agreement.
The remainder of Article 4, covering participating Member States, suspension or termination of close cooperation, and recoupment of contributions, is unchanged between the two versions.

Article 4 Participating Member States 1. Participating Member States within the meaning of Article 2 of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013 shall be considered to be participating Member States for the purposes of this Regulation. 1a. Member States shall inform the Board as soon as possible where they request to enter into a close cooperation with the ECB pursuant to Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013. Following the notification made pursuant to Article 7 of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013 and before close cooperation is established, Member States shall provide all information about the entities and groups established in their territory that the Board may require to prepare for the tasks conferred on it by this Regulation and the Agreement. 2.
