A new Article 519b has been added, setting out two reporting obligations: EBA is to report by 30 September 2019 on the impact on Union institutions of international standards for calculating own funds requirements for market risk.
It further provides that, by 30 June 2020, the Commission is to submit a report, together with a legislative proposal where appropriate, to the European Parliament and the Council on implementing international standards on own funds requirements for market risk, taking into account the EBA report and the approaches in Chapters 1a and 1b of Title IV of Part Three.
