Amended by Regulation (EU) 2019/876 32019R0876

applies from: unknown

Sources disagree — the amending act's instructions found this change; the text comparison finds no difference in the provision's text and the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it. All are shown; none is overruled.

No explanation shipped — the structural diff did not see this change, so it carries no text; another signal named the unit and the disagreement ships as `disputed`.

No text on either side: this unit was named by a signal that carries no text, and only the structural diff carries any.

Amended by Regulation (EU) 2019/876 32019R0876

applies from: unknown (the text changed beyond its dates, so no date that moved can be read as the application date)

dates added to the text: 2018-12-31, 2024-12-31 · dates removed: 2014-01-01, 2022-12-31

Sources disagree — the text comparison and the amending act's instructions found this change; the EU's own amendment metadata does not list it. All are shown; none is overruled.

The derogation period in paragraph 1 changed from running from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2022 to running from 31 December 2018 to 31 December 2024, and the reference date in point (c) for the 15% threshold was likewise extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024.

The opening clause changed from stating that competent authorities may permit institutions not to deduct such holdings to stating that institutions themselves may choose not to deduct them.

Point (a) was altered so that it now references the conditions in points (a) and (e) of Article 49(1), removing the earlier reference to point (c) of that Article.
