The single unnumbered paragraph on competent authorities' powers under Directive 2013/36/EU was restructured into four numbered paragraphs, with paragraph 1 adding a reference to this Regulation itself alongside the Directive.
New paragraph 2 adds resolution authorities and directs them to the powers and procedures of Directive 2014/59/EU and this Regulation, new paragraph 3 states that competent authorities and resolution authorities shall cooperate on own funds and eligible liabilities requirements, and new paragraph 4 states that the Single Resolution Board and the European Central Bank shall ensure regular and reliable exchange of relevant information within their respective competences.
