The provision retains the original statement that the Authority's seat is in Paris and adds a new sentence stating that the location of the seat does not affect the Authority's execution of its tasks and powers, the organisation of its governance structure, the operation of its main organisation, or the main financing of its activities.

The added sentence also states that this is while allowing, where applicable, for the sharing with Union agencies of administrative support services and facility management services which are not related to the core activities of the Authority.

The earlier version contained only the single sentence naming Paris as the seat, without this additional text.
