The first paragraph now specifies that joint positions with the other two European Supervisory Authorities are reached by consensus, and refers to tasks set out in Chapter II of this Regulation rather than simply tasks in Chapter II.
The second paragraph adds a qualifier that adoption applies where required by Union law, distinguishes measures under Articles 10 to 16 from decisions under Articles 17, 18 and 19, and changes the reference from Union acts to legislative acts referred to in Article 1(2) of this Regulation.
A minor wording correction also changes the name of the third authority from the European Securities and Market Authority to the European Securities and Markets Authority.

Article 56
Joint positions and common acts
Within the scope of its tasks set out in Chapter II, II of this Regulation, and in particular with respect to the implementation of Directive 2002/87/EC, where relevant, the Authority shall reach joint positions with by consensus with, as appropriate, the European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority) and with the European Supervisory Authority (European Securities and Markets Authority), as appropriate.
