The list of substances exempted from registration under Article 2(7)(a) has been substantially revised, with numerous entries present in the earlier version, such as several fatty acids, oils, glycerides and other named substances, no longer appearing in the later version.
The later version also adds entries not present before, including Fructose, Galactose, Lactose, Krypton, Neon, Helium and Xenon, among others.
Some entries retained in both versions show minor wording changes, such as the renaming of L-sorbose (formerly listed as 1-sorbose) and small punctuation or phrasing adjustments in descriptive text for substances like Lecithins and Starch.
